Day 15, July 21 (4,142 miles): Yeah, Lake Pend Oreille

Here is a lovely picture of our two hosts, Sharma and Sam after we hiked to a  nice peak overlooking Kilroy Bay (a part of Lake Pend Oreille in Sagle, ID).  Things are slowing down nicely for us on the cross-country adventure. Last night, we had a delicious backyard BBQ and blueberry pie for Adrienne's birthday, followed up with friendly fireside chats. Breakfast burritos gave us the necessary fuel to climb the steep forest terrain, and the afternoon finds us finding gentle ways to catch sun rays. Adrienne, Sam, and Sharma splashed around in the 70 degree waters, while I had a long overdue date with my sketchbook. Fun Fact of the Day: Lake Pend Oreille is the 3rd deepest lake in North America
