We traveled to the land of Ron Burgundy today, as we headed south to San Diego. After meeting up with newlyweds Lisa and Ben, we headed down to Pacific Beach for a little beach boardwalk bite-to-eat and biking bonanza (top that)! Even though it was a bit overcast, the scenery and weather were just perfect. I must admit though, my butt is a little sore. We also stopped to get some adult beverages at JRDN, which was quite swanky indeed.After seeing the sites on wheels, we headed downtown for an exceptionally yummy sushi dinner at Taka. Our good luck continued from the Grand Canyon, as they were going to turn us away at dinner, but after a little persistence, we scored an outdoor table to that we could gawk at all of the pedestrians in their done-up nighttime attire! (In addition, we MIGHT have caught a glimpse of Ben's "sweaty Hawaiian," who looked decidedly Mexican in his luchador mask. And we definitely caught a glimpse of the elusive Delaware license plate! Yahoo! Only DC left...)
