Normally, I do not like flan, but today has been a day of culinary excess,so it seems only fitting that I write today's blog as a finish the final gelatinous spoonfuls of my dessert.
The day began with the sweet shrieks of Mr. Kofi Rossuello, the star of yesterday's blog, at 7am. Then, the Los Feliz 5 had a delightful and beautiful breakfast at one of Silverlake's finest coffee shops, La Mill. Next, we did some power shopping for the two of the most handsome gentlemen in LA, me and Kofi. He got some new sneakers and I tried my best to buy a CD at the biggest music store I have ever seen, Amoeba Records. Sadly, I came home empty-handed, but seeing my new friend rock his kicks was enough fun for the the morning.
The afternoon and evening were more challenging, for the fact that we had to battle plate-loads of empanadas, LA freeways, and potent margaritas. The photo above is from dinner at El Cholo. We met up with my old college roommate, Agustin, and Greg, to make our CU reunion tour of LA complete.
Now, the night is done and so is the flan. Tomorrow we head on down to San Diego, where Adrienne will try her hand at becoming Gidget.
